The Earth-Rite II RTR system uses Tri-Mode technology that recognises the tanker based on electric capacitance, ensuring that the tanker is connected to an electrostatic grounding point. The system also supervises that the grounding clamp is connected to the tanker and not to directly grounded structures or isolated metal components. The system moves to continuous monitoring of the grounding resistance circuit between the tanker and static grounding point once the previous checks allow it.
Earth-Rite II RTR is a Tri-Mode system (monitoring capacitance/resistivity) for monitoring the grounding of tankers. The system is designed to indicate a permission only when it recognises a grounded tanker and the nominal resistance of the grounding connection is under 10 ohm. The system does not give permission if the above-mentioned conditions are not met.
